The American Off-Roader puts that engineering directly into your hands, letting you assemble a rugged 4x4 from over 200 individual pieces, complete with the mechanical systems that give a real off-road machine its character.
At 26cm long in 1:18 scale, this is a proper metal construction set built using stainless steel components, metal cogs, screws, nuts and mechanical parts.
Open the hood and explore the detailed engine bay, then follow the mechanics through a functioning gearbox, working drivetrain, all-wheel-drive system and rear differential. This isn't just about recreating the shape of an off-roader, it's about understanding what makes one work.
Underneath, shock absorbers, a generous 29mm of ground clearance and massive rubber off-road tyres give it the aggressive stance you'd expect from a machine designed to tackle rough terrain. A detailed interior and opening hood add another layer of realism once the mechanical build is complete.
Your assembly tools and digital manual are included, so the real experience begins with a pile of parts and ends with a machine whose mechanics you assembled yourself.
