Built around a massive aircraft engine and driven by a relentless pursuit of speed, it remains one of the boldest creations in automotive history, a machine that proves there was once no such thing as "too much engine."
Measuring an impressive 45cm long in 1:12 scale and assembled from over 300 pieces, this officially licensed snap-fit model faithfully recreates the Mefistofele's unforgettable proportions.
Its striking metallic red finish, elegant gold and chrome details, opening hood, functioning steering, detailed interior and enormous inline-6 aircraft engine reveal why this machine still captivates enthusiasts nearly a century later.
The intricately recreated engine bay, drivetrain, rear differential and rubber tyres complete a model worthy of one of motoring's greatest legends.
Originally built in Italy, the real Fiat Mefistofele was created by British racing driver Ernest Eldridge, who transformed a Fiat chassis by fitting an enormous 21.7-litre Fiat A.12 aircraft engine.
In 1924, the car set a new world land speed record, reaching 234.98 km/h (146.01 mph), earning its infamous nickname for the thunderous roar and flames that accompanied its record-breaking runs.
